PHASE ONE OF WORKs
Re-roofing a large house in North Wiltshire
We have recently completed Phase One of an extensive programme of works to a large private residence in North Wiltshire. The first stage of this project was focused on ensuring the property was fully watertight, providing essential protection to the building while further refurbishment works are planned and carried out.
To facilitate the work, comprehensive scaffolding was erected around the property, including the installation of a temporary roof structure. This approach ensured the house was protected from the elements throughout the project, allowing our team to work efficiently and without weather-related delays.
The core element of Phase One involved the installation of new roof coverings, carefully selected to remain sympathetic to the original character of the house while also providing durability and long-term performance. Alongside this, our skilled team carried out essential structural repairs to the existing roof timbers. These works were vital to reinforce the integrity of the roof, safeguarding the building for decades to come.
This successful completion of Phase One marks a significant milestone in the project and reflects Gaiger Brothers’ commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship while preserving the character of important properties across the South West region.
