    Residential Refurbishment Project

    Residential Refurbishment Project

    About the development

Our team recently completed a comprehensive exterior renovation of a private residence, blending contemporary design with lasting durability. Every aspect of the project was approached with precision and care.

The existing render was meticulously removed and replaced, transforming the façade into a crisp, clean canvas that radiates freshness and modern elegance. This careful process ensured that the new finish not only looks striking but is also built to withstand the elements for years to come.

To introduce warmth and character, the garage elevations were clad in high-quality cedar. The natural timber finish adds a tactile, inviting quality to the home’s exterior.

The completed project reflects a harmonious balance between style and resilience, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and thoughtful design. The result is a property that stands out for both its aesthetic appeal and its enduring performance.

    About the development

We’re excited to share the completion of a major refurbishment project at Wiltshire College.

Working in close collaboration with the College, we have transformed two key rooms into a state-of-the-art Tech Gaming and Design Centre, providing students with access to industry-standard technology and an inspiring environment to support their studies in game design, development, and interactive media.

As part of the wider redevelopment, we also undertook a significant upgrade of the Arc Theatre, modernising and expanding the space into a much larger and more immersive Gaming Hub. This enhanced facility is now ideally suited for collaborative projects, live demonstrations, and gaming-focused events.

To further support the College’s forward-thinking curriculum, we constructed a number of new training rooms, each purpose-built to facilitate hands-on learning and practical skill development in areas such as game design and digital media.

This project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, future-ready educational spaces that inspire both students and educators alike.

    PHASE ONE OF WORKs

Re-roofing a large house in North Wiltshire

We have recently completed Phase One of an extensive programme of works to a large private residence in North Wiltshire. The first stage of this project was focused on ensuring the property was fully watertight, providing essential protection to the building while further refurbishment works are planned and carried out.

To facilitate the work, comprehensive scaffolding was erected around the property, including the installation of a temporary roof structure. This approach ensured the house was protected from the elements throughout the project, allowing our team to work efficiently and without weather-related delays.

The core element of Phase One involved the installation of new roof coverings, carefully selected to remain sympathetic to the original character of the house while also providing durability and long-term performance. Alongside this, our skilled team carried out essential structural repairs to the existing roof timbers. These works were vital to reinforce the integrity of the roof, safeguarding the building for decades to come.

This successful completion of Phase One marks a significant milestone in the project and reflects Gaiger Brothers’ commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship while preserving the character of important properties across the South West region.

    A whole rebuild

    About the project

Gaiger Brothers were entrusted with a significant and challenging project: the complete rebuild of a 900m² warehouse and showroom following a devastating fire. The loss of the building had a major impact on our client’s business, making it essential to deliver a solution that not only replaced the structure but also provided a modern, resilient space to support their ongoing operations.

    What Did We Do?

From the outset, our priority was to work closely with the client, ensuring their needs were fully understood and incorporated into the design and construction process. The project involved the clearance of the fire-damaged structure, followed by the careful planning and execution of a full rebuild.

The new warehouse and showroom were constructed to the highest standards, with durability, practicality, and efficiency at the heart of the design. We provided a fully finished shell building, ready for the client to carry out their own internal fit-out using furniture they produce themselves. This approach allowed them to tailor the interior to suit their unique requirements while relying on Gaiger Brothers to deliver a safe, robust, and future-proof structure.

The successful completion of this project highlights our ability to respond to unforeseen challenges, supporting our clients through difficult circumstances and providing practical, high-quality construction solutions.
