We are a family-owned business and pride ourselves on being an open and honest developer, adopting a personal, straightforward approach with the landowners we work with and undertaking meaningful engagement with the local community.

Our land development team has a comprehensive knowledge of the planning and development process with a proven delivery record. As a third-generation company with extensive building and construction experience, we know how to secure implementable planning permissions which maximise development value for our landowners.

We work with a wide range of landowners from private individuals to larger organisations, and our company structure and sound financial basis enable us to work flexibly and make decisions without delay.

Our approach:

  • Early assessment of development potential and planning risks
  • Flexible approach to best meet landowner requirements
  • We manage planning risks and associated costs and maximise development value
  • Clear communication with our landowners and meaningful engagement with stakeholders
  • Proven delivery record

From our experience, understanding your priorities as the landowner is the most important first step for us as a prospective development partner.

We take great care in how we engage with the local community, an increasingly important aspect of planning promotion.  Our recent experience of promoting sites include our Lavington Lane site at West Lavington where we carefully planned our engagement with the respective Parish Councils, site neighbours and wider community enabling us to secure a consensus of local support and a Neighbourhood Plan site housing allocation before then securing an outline planning consent for 50 homes.

We are actively seeking development land in Wiltshire and neighbouring areas and whilst we remain totally flexible and are happy to appraise any opportunity, we are typically looking for sites with development potential for up to 20 homes on previously developed land, including redundant commercial premises or former agricultural holdings, or greenfield sites.

We can be flexible on landowner agreements, and this will always respond to the specific requirements of each landowner we partner with.

If you have a land opportunity that you would like to discuss with us, please do not hesitate to contact Nick Church, our Land Development and Planning Manager, or one of the Directors here at Gaiger Brothers.
